FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING

Fulfillment time is the time it takes to make your product. Retrotogs's fulfillment time aims to have products produced in 2–5 business days.

We aim to have your order shipped within 5 business days. More than 50% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer. Non domestic orders(outwith UK) may take  longer depending on the location.

Please note:

  • Fulfillment time doesn't include shipping. To get an idea of how long an order will take to reach its destination, combine the estimated fulfillment time with the estimated shipping time.
  • Our fulfillment time doesn't account for the time an order might be put on hold.
  • Fulfillment for large orders may take longer on average, but it’ll still be fulfilled within 5 business days.

Space Invaders, the iconic alien shooter game, was created by Tomohiro Nishikado and released by Taito in Japan in 1978. It revolutionized the gaming industry, being one of the earliest shooters and spawning numerous sequels and remakes over the years. The game’s premise is simple yet addictive: players control a laser cannon to battle against descending aliens and prevent them from reaching the bottom of the screen. It was the first video game to be called a blockbuster, the first to allow players to save scores and achieve high scores, and the first to have a soundtrack that influenced the player’s emotions.
The game’s success was so immense in Japan that it led to a coin shortage and an increase in the production of the 100-yen coin. In 1980, Atari, Inc., adapted a version of the game for the Atari 2600 console, further fueling its popularity. Over the years, Space Invaders has been adapted for various platforms and has had numerous sequels and spin-offs, including “Space Invaders Part II” and “Space Invaders DX”.
In 2008, to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary, Nintendo released “Space Invaders Get Even”, an online game for the Wii console where players take control of the invading aliens rather than the defending laser cannon. The game’s influence on the gaming industry and popular culture is undeniable, with its legacy continuing to this day.
